1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 egg, well beaten
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. chopped pecans
1/4 c. white sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. plus 2 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 mounds candy bars, finely chopped

Cream sugar and butter; add egg, vanilla and other ingredients; blend. Spoon onto cookie sheet with teaspoon. Bake at 375 degrees about 9-10 minutes. Cool on wire rack. Makes about 3 dozen.
