1 pt. Brer Rabbit Baking Molasses (gold label)
1 c. butter
1 tbsp. ginger
1 c. buttermilk
1 tbsp. baking soda
Flour to make stiff (5 or 6 c.) (if using Gold Medal flour 5 c. is plenty)

Mix night before. Then roll and cut circles with small glass. Wash with egg. Place on cookie sheet about 2 inches apart and bake at 350 degrees for about 12 minutes.
