SWEDISH APPLE PIE 
2 c. apples, sliced, cooked (4 c. raw)
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. sugar
Pinch salt
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sour cream
1 9" pie shell, unbaked

TOPPING:

1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 1/2 tbsp. soft butter

PIE CRUST:

2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. Crisco
1/4 c. water

Filling: Mash apples slightly; add flour, sugar and salt. Beat egg and vanilla; add to apple mixture. Beat sour cream and fold into apple mixture. Pour into pie shell and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Remove and sprinkle with topping. Return to oven and bake 15 minutes more.

Topping: Cut together like pastry dough until crumbly.
