FABULOUS GRANOLA 
3 c. reg. oats, uncooked
1 (2 1/8 oz.) bottle sesame seeds
1 (3.75 oz.) pkg. salted sunflower seeds
1 (2 1/4 oz.) pkg. sliced almonds
1/2 c. flaked coconut
3/4 c. maple syrup
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped dates

Combine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl. Combine syrup and next 5 ingredients; pour over oats mixture, and stir well. Spread evenly in a 10x15 inch jelly roll pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes or until golden brown, stirring every 10 minutes; turn oven off and leave in oven 5 minutes.

Remove from oven, and stir in raisins and dates. Let cool. Store granola in an airtight container in a cool dry place. Serve with yogurt, milk or as a snack. Yields 7 cups.
