GOLDEN GRANOLA 
3 cups Quaker oats (quick or old-fashioned, uncooked)
1 cup shredded coconut flakes
1 cup chopped nuts
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup raw, unsalted sunflower seeds (optional)
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, melted
1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
2/3 cup raisins

Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine all ingredients except raisins in large bowl; mix well. Spread evenly on an ungreased 15x10-inch jelly roll pan.

Bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown, stirring every 10 minutes.

Remove granola from oven; stir in raisins.

Cool completely in pan. Store tightly covered up to 2 weeks.

Makes about 6 cups granola.

MICROWAVE VARIATION:

Combine all ingredients except raisins in large bowl; mix well. Cook in an ungreased 11x7-inch baking dish in microwave oven at HIGH for 8 to 10 minutes or until light golden brown, stirring after every 2 minutes of cooking; stir in raisins.

This is much better than store bought! The oats are chewy, the nuts are crunchy, the raisins give it just the right amount of sweetness and the honey adds a nice flavor. A new favorite.
