RHUBARB CAKE 
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1 c. sour milk
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. chopped rhubarb

Cream brown sugar, butter and egg. Add milk and dry ingredients. Stir in vanilla and rhubarb. Pour in 9x13 inch pan, greased. Sprinkle on top 1/3 cup sugar mixed with 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.

BUTTER SAUCE:

Pour over pieces when serving.

1/2 c. cream or evaporated milk
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. flour
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Cook 5 minutes. Serve warm.
