POTATO DONUTS 
2 c. hot mashed potatoes
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. melted butter
2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
1 c. milk
6 c. flour
6 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

Add sugar and butter to potatoes. Stir until dissolved; then add vanilla, eggs and milk. Slowly add flour, powder and salt. Mix well until a soft dough forms. Refrigerate 1 hour. Roll on a floured board to 1/4 inch thick.

Cut. (Use a round cookie cutter or a water glass, using a smaller one for center hole.) Deep fry, bacon grease is good but using Crisco will make them less heavy.
