CELERY BREAD LOAF 
1 loaf unsliced white bread
3/4 c. butter, softened
1 tsp. celery seed
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. paprika
Dash cayenne

Trim crust from top, sides and ends of loaf. Cut down through center of loaf lengthwise, almost to bottom crust. Cut 1 inch intervals crosswise almost to bottom crust.

Mix together ingredients. Spread mixture over entire surface of cuts. Place on wax paper, wrap and refrigerate 1 hour. Unwrap, place on baking sheet and bake in 400 degree oven for 15-18 minutes or until golden. Serves 6.
