FRENCH TOAST 
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. butter or Parkay butter
8 to 10 slices day-old bread

In a small bowl, thoroughly combine eggs, milk and salt. Preheat skillet, uncovered, at 350 degrees. Melt 1 tablespoon butter. Dip bread in egg mixture, turning to coat both sides. Place 3 to 4 slices of bread into skillet. Fry until golden brown. Turn and brown other side. Repeat procedure for additional bread slices. Serve hot with maple syrup, jelly or honey.
