1 c. sugar
1 unbeaten egg white
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. boiling water
1 tsp. vanilla
Few grains salt

Mix sugar, salt, egg white and cream of tartar together. Add the boiling water and beat using high speed of electric mixer. Beat until stiff and add vanilla.
