WISCONSIN POTATO SOUP | |
Raw potatoes Milk or half & half Salt Wisconsin cheddar cheese Garlic powder or other seasoning Peel potatoes. Cut or cube potatoes into 1/4 to 1/2 inch cubes. Cover potatoes with water and boil until soft. Add salt for flavor. Pour off some water and add milk to thicken the liquid, grate some Wisconsin cheddar cheese and spread over the soup. Add garlic powder for a "heartful" meal. Allow to lightly simmer for about 10 minutes. Save as much water as possible, the food value is there! |
