1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. shortening or butter
1 c. whole peanuts
1 c. oatmeal
1 c. cornflakes
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 eggs

Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs, beaten well. Add oatmeal, peanuts, cornflakes and vanilla. Sift flour, baking powder and soda. Add to rest of mixture. Do not overbake. Bake at 350 degrees.
