CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
2 c. flour
3/4 c. wheat bran
3/4 c. oat bran
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 c. molasses
3 tbsp. milk
2 lg. eggs
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
12 oz. chocolate miniature morsels

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In small bowl, combine flour, wheat and oat bran, baking soda and salt; set aside.

In large mixer bowl, combine shortening, sugar and vanilla extract; beat until creamy. Beat in eggs, milk and molasses. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes. Makes about 3 dozen 3-inch cookies.
