MARYLAND CREAM WAFFLES 
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. sugar
1 3/4 cups milk
2 eggs, separated
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted

Mix and sift dry ingredients. Add milk which has been beaten with egg yolks. Add melted butter. Fold in beaten egg whites. Bake batter in your favorite waffle iron.

Serves 6.
