CHOCOLATE CHIPPER CAKE 
2 1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. shortening
1 1/4 c. water
2 sq. melted chocolate (Bakers)
1/2 c. chopped nuts
6 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except chocolate chips and nuts. Mix at low speed until moistened; then beat 2 minutes. Pour into 13 x 9 inch pan, greased on bottom only. Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts over batter. Bake 40-45 minutes. Enjoy!
