BREAD PUDDING 
2 lg. eggs
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. milk
2 c. bread cubes, firm French, Italian or white
1/3 c. raisins
Jelly (optional)
Whipped cream (optional)

Beat eggs, then beat in sugar, butter, spices. Add vanilla and milk. Stir in bread and raisins. Pour into greased shallow 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Set in pan of hot water with water 1-inch up side. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes. Top each serving with teaspoon of jelly and dab of whipped cream.
