1/2 c. butter
1 c. crunchy peanut butter
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
3 tbsp. milk

Cream butter, peanut butter and sugars together. Add eggs and mix thoroughly. Sift flour, soda and salt together; add to mixture, blending well. Add milk and flavoring. Roll into balls, flatten with fork and place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.

This cookie recipe was written by Aileen's mother many years ago. She made them when Aileen was a child. Now Aileen is 65. When her mother wrote it she used Nuco for butter, so that really goes back a long way.
