MEXICAN OKRA 
1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1 sm. onion, diced
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
1 tsp. chili powder
3 c. okra, diced
Garlic powder to taste
Salt to taste
Ground black pepper to taste

Brown beef and onion in large heavy skillet. Add tomatoes, chili powder, and okra. Add garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste. Simmer until okra is tender.
