MINCEMEAT BARS, GLAZED 
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. soft butter
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. mincemeat
1 c. chopped nuts
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt; optional
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Combine in bowl sugar, eggs, butter. Beat until creamy. Add mincemeat and nuts; mix well. Sift together dry ingredients and blend into other mixture. Pour into a well greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.

GLAZE:

1 c. confectioners sugar
1-2 tbsp. orange juice

Combine sugar and orange juice in bowl. Stir until smooth. Spread over baked mincemeat bars while still slightly warm. Cool. Cut into 3 x 1 inch bars. Makes 50 bars.
