GLAZED CINNAMON BARS 
1 c. butter
1 c. packed light brown sugar
1 egg, separated
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. walnuts, chopped

Combine brown sugar, butter and egg yolk into bowl and cream well together. Blend flour and cinnamon to above bowl; mix well. Spread evenly in a lightly greased 15 x 10 x 1 inch jelly roll pan. Beat egg whites until frothy. Stir in powdered sugar. Brush mixture over layer in pan. Sprinkle with walnuts. Bake at 350 degrees 30 to 35 minutes. While still hot, cut into bars. Remove from pan and cool on wire racks. Makes about 4 dozen.
