FRUIT COCKTAIL COOKIES 
1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar

Cream together. 2 tbsp. molasses 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. cloves 1 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. vanilla 1 (No. 303) can fruit cocktail, well drained 3 1/2 c. flour

Add if desired: 1 cup raisins and 1 cup chopped nuts.

Drop by teaspoonful on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees until golden brown.
