PEACH COBBLER 
1 lg. can peach slices with juice
3/4 c. self-rising flour
1 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1 stick butter

Melt butter in sauce pan. Pour in bottom of 2 (or 2 1/2) quart round, deep, casserole dish. Then heat peaches and juice to boiling. Let boil for a minute or two just to be sure it is hot.

Mix flour, sugar, and milk together until smooth. (Sift flour first so the mixture will be smoother). Pour this mixture into melted butter in casserole dish. Next add peaches and stir just so everything is mixed a bit.

Bake in 350 degree oven for 35 to 45 minutes. Crust will rise to the top. It should be slightly brown, but if not broil just long enough to brown top.
