LOUISIANA SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE 
1 big can or 2 c. sweet potatoes, mashed
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
3/4 stick butter, soft
1 c. evaporated milk
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Mix all together and put into casserole dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes until almost firm.

TOPPING:

1/2 c. brown sugar & 3/4 stick butter (melted in saucepan)
3/4 c. corn flakes, crushed
1/2 c. walnuts (optional)

Spread on top of casserole after baking and bake another 15 minutes.
