YANKEE CHILI | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 onion, chopped 1 c. celery, diced 1/2 green pepper, chopped (optional) 1 can kidney beans, undrained (16 oz. size) 1 can tomato soup, undiluted 1 clove garlic 1 tbsp. chili powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. MSG (optional) Spear garlic clove on toothpick. Add to meat and brown. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Cover and cook on high until it bubbles, then turn to simmer and simmer for at least 15 minutes, but preferably longer. Remove garlic before serving. Serves 4. |
