OATMEAL RAISIN COOKIES 
3/4 c. butter
1 c. maple syrup
2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. whole wheat pastry flour
3/4 c. white flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. rolled oats
1 c. raisins

Cream together butter and maple syrup in medium bow. Stir in vanilla. In separate bowl, mix flours and baking powder. Combine flour mixture and creamed mixture and blend thoroughly. Add oats and raisins; mix well. Drop by large spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Makes 2-4 dozen.
