TEXAS CHOCOLATE SHEET CAKE 
1. Sift together 2 cups flour and 2 cups white sugar.

2. Bring the following to a boil: 4 tbsp. cocoa 1/2 c. shortening 1 c. water

Pour over first mixture and stir well.

3. Add 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1/2 cup buttermilk and beat well. Pour into a 2 inch deep jelly roll pan and bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes.

FROSTING:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk

Bring to a boil and add: 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. chopped walnuts

Frost while warm.
