2 c. cooked macaroni
1 lb. ground meat, seasoned

Put small amount of shortening in pan, saute an onion, cut fine, add ground meat. Fry lightly, not brown. Grease casserole. Layer half of macaroni, all the meat mixture, and sharp cheese, then rest of macaroni on top.

Pour 1 1/2 cups canned tomatoes over top. Cover with American cheese. Cover with lid. Bake for 35 minutes at 350 degrees. Take cover off and bake 10 minutes more.
