BRANDIED FRUIT WITH YELLOW CAKE 
7 1/2 c. sugar
1 lg. can peaches
1 lg. can pineapple chunks
Lg. jar maraschino cherries

Into a decorative glass jar with loose fitting lid, add 2 1/2 cups sugar and 1 large can of peaches. Let stand on counter top or stove for 10 days, stirring every day. Add 2 1/2 cups sugar and pineapple chunks. Let stand 10 days and stir everyday. Add 2 1/2 cups sugar and large jar maraschino cherries. Let stand 10 days, stirring daily.

CAKE:

1 yellow cake mix
1 (3 3/4 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
2/3 c. oil
4 eggs
1 c. drained fruit
1 c. walnuts

Beat all ingredients until smooth. Fold in 1 cup drained fruit and 1 cup nuts. Grease and flour a bundt cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes. You may give 1 cup of fruit away to friends as a starter. Remember to add fruit and sugar every 10 days. Also good as a topping for ice cream.
