2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sugar
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. mayonnaise

Sift together flour, soda, sugar and cocoa. Beat together water, vanilla and mayonnaise and add to dry ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes in loaf pan or 350 degrees for 25 minutes in layer pans or until toothpick comes out clean.
