SWEET CRISP PICKLES 
1 gallon Morton's whole sour pickles
5 lb. sugar
1 sm. box mixed pickling spice

Drain pickles, slice long ways. Tie spice in a bag (cloth). Put pickles, spice in a large container, cover with the sugar. Cover and let stand overnight, then keep sugar stirred from bottom for 3 days. Place back in gallon jar. Refrigerate.
