PASTA FAGIOLI 
1 chopped onion
Salt
Pepper
Garlic (salt or powder)
Oregano
6 oz. tomato paste
19 oz. white kidney beans
19 oz. chick peas
1 lb. sm. macaroni shells or ditalinis

Saute 1 chopped onion in large pot. Fill pot 1/2 way with water; bring to a boil. Add salt, pepper, garlic and oregano (season to your taste). Add tomato paste; bring to a boil again. Add 1 can white kidney beans and one can chick peas. Use juice of both cans, too. Bring to a boil and macaroni shells or ditalinis. Serve with grated Italian cheese.
