ELEPHANT EAR KRISPS | |
1/2 c. milk 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. butter 1 tsp. salt 2 pkgs. dry yeast in 1/2 c. warm water 2 beaten eggs 4 1/2 to 5 c. flour Combine all ingredients. Knead, let stand for 15 minutes. Use half of dough and roll out as for cinnamon rolls. Spread with a mixture of melted butter, cinnamon, and sugar. Roll up as you would jelly roll. Roll in cinnamon and sugar and cut like jelly roll. With a rolling pin, flatten each one and let rise for 10 minutes. Bake about 10 minutes in a 400 degree oven. |
