OYSTER BEEF ORIENTAL 
3/4 lb. flank steak
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. fresh gingerroot (peel and chop fine)
2 tbsp. green onions, chopped
2 tbsp. oyster sauce
1 tbsp. sherry
A little water

While steak is partially frozen cut in 1/4 inch strips lengthwise. Heat 1/4 cup oil (peanut oil is best in oriental cooking) to medium heat. Stir fry the steak strips and drain. Add ginger and onions stir together. Add oyster sauce. Mix 1 tablespoons soy sauce and 1 tablespoons cornstarch add sugar and a bit of water. Stir into meat mixture. Keep stirring this will thicken the sauce. Serve with rice.
