CHOCOLATE FUDGE UPSIDE--DOWN
CAKE
 
3/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. milk
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/4 c. boiling water

Cream together 3/4 cup sugar and butter. Add milk and stir. Sift together flour, salt, baking powder and 1 1/2 tablespoon cocoa, add to mixture. Stir well and put in a 9 inch buttered pan. Sprinkle chopped walnuts over cake. Mix well 1/2 cup sugar, brown sugar, and 1/4 cup cocoa and spread over top. Pour boiling water over top of all. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Let cool in pan. Serve with Cool Whip.
