PAN FRIED PORGY
olive oil
flour
eggs
panko bread crumbs (or other bread crumbs)
Montreal steak seasoning and/or other seasonings
dried Italian seasoning

In a plastic bag or in a shallow dish with sides, place 1 to 2 cups of flour.

Cooks Note: You can season the flour or plain bread crumbs lightly, if desired, with onion and/garlic powder, salt or seasoned salt, pepper, paprika, parsley flakes, celery seed, lemon pepper or other favorites. A little goes a long way!

Flour the fish fillets, coating them well with flour on both sides. Dip fish into beaten egg. Place bread crumbs in plastic bag with seasoning and put fish into the bread crumb and coat well.

Fry fish in shallow olive oil (just enough to coat bottom of pan) and fry each side for about 4 minutes or until golden on both sides and fish is opaque through the center.

Fried fish also freezes well for a future dinner.

This same recipe can also be used for other kinds of fish fillet.
