THERESA ZORN'S BRAN MUFFINS 
1 box or 6 c. Bran Buds or All Bran
1 qt. buttermilk
2 c. water
1 1/4 c. Puritan oil
4 eggs (or the equivalent Egg Beaters)
1-2 tsp. vanilla
5 c. flour
5 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 - 2 c. brown sugar

In a large mixing bowl, mix together bran, buttermilk and water. Let set for about 5 minutes. Add oil, eggs and vanilla. Mix together flour, soda, salt and sugar. Add dry ingredients to previous mixture. For variety, add dried fruits that have been steamed, or raisins, or toasted nuts. Bake in greased muffin tins in a 400 degree oven for approximately 20 minutes or until brown. Makes about 6 dozen.
