SOUR CREAM NOODLE BAKE 
8 oz. med. egg noodles
2 tbsp. butter
1 lb. ground beef
8 oz. can tomato sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 c. cottage cheese
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. coarsely grated cheddar cheese

Cook noodles, rinse and drain. Cook meat in butter. Add tomato sauce, salt, and pepper. Cover and simmer 5 minutes. Fold together noodles, cottage cheese, sour cream and onions. Spoon half mixture into casserole, cover with half meat mixture. Repeat layers. Sprinkle with cheese.

This is an excellent family casserole.

Serves 8. Dish size 2 1/2 quarts. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes.
