BROWNIE PIE 
1 stick butter (preferably real)
1 sq. unsweetened chocolate
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. sifted flour
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. pecans, coarsely chopped, optional

Melt butter in saucepan with the chocolate. Remove from heat and stir in sugar. Then stir in flour; then eggs. Add vanilla and pecans; pour into greased pie plate and bake at 325 degrees for 25-30 minutes.

Serve hot with coffee ice cream, topped perhaps with hot fudge sauce. Also, the pie may be served with rum flavored cream whipped the French way with a wire whisk so that it is creamy rather than stiff. The cream should be slightly sweetened with confectioners' sugar. Also, good cold.
