ALASKA BERRY DELIGHT PIE WITH
CRUMB TOPPING

1/2 c. shortening
1 1/3 c. all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3-4 tbsp. cold water
1 qt. strawberries
2 c. raspberries
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. corn starch
5 1/3 tsp. butter
3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar

Combine flour and salt; cut shortening into mixture until it is the size of small peas. Sprinkle the water into the mixture - one tablespoon at a time - until all the flour is moistened. Form the dough into a ball, roll out on a lightly floured board. Cut the dough for pie shell and place in a pie tin.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine strawberries, raspberries, 1 cup of sugar, and cornstarch; pour into the unbaked pie shell.

With a pastry blender or two forks, mix together butter, 3/4 cup flour, and 1/2 cup sugar. Blend well; sprinkle on top of the pie. Bake for one hour. Serves 8.
