3 tbsp. cornstarch

Cook as for pie filling. Let cool while making batter. 1 c. sugar 4 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 2 1/2 c. flour Pinch cream of tartar 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 jar cherries, cut in 1/2
