MEXICAN CASSEROLE BAKED BEANS | |
6 slices chopped bacon 1/3 c. chopped celery 1/4 c. chopped onion 1/4 c. chopped green pepper 1/4 c. catsup 2 (1 lb.) cans pork and beans 2 tsp. brown sugar 2 tsp. molasses 3 to 5 drops Tabasco sauce Cook bacon until crisp, remove bacon, reserving 2 teaspoons drippings in skillet. Add celery, onion, pepper, cook until tender. In 1-quart casserole, combine all ingredients, including bacon. Bake uncovered 45 minutes at 370 degrees. 6-8 servings. |
