MR. B.'S HOT CHILI | |
2 (15 oz.) cans kidney beans, drained or 1 (40 oz.) can 1 (28 oz.) canned tomatoes 2 lb. coarsely ground chuck, browned and drained 4 med. onions, chopped 2 green peppers, chopped 4 celery stalks, chopped 2 cloves garlic, crushed or garlic powder 4 1/2 tbsp. chili powder 1 tsp. pepper 1 tsp. cumin (optional) 2-3 sm. hot red peppers (optional) Salt to taste All vegetables should be coarsely chopped. Place all ingredients in a crock pot in order listed above. Stir once, cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours; high for 5-6 hours. Our P.T.O. Covered Dish Dinner wouldn't be the same without Mr. Brown's Chili! |
