NANNY'S RUSSIAN TEA BALLS 
1 scant c. shortening
4 tbsp. powdered sugar
2 c. pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tbsp. ice water
1/4 tsp. salt

Cream shortening and sugar. Add the rest of the ingredients. Roll into balls. Bake until golden brown at 325 degrees. Roll in powdered sugar.
