NUT ROLL - UPS 
1/3 c. butter, softened
1 pkg. (3 oz.) cream cheese, softened
3/4 c. all-purpose flour
36 pecan or walnut halves (can also use candied cherry halves, chocolate, butterscotch or peanut flavored chips)
Powdered sugar

Self-rising flour can be used.

Mix butter and cream cheese. Stir in flour until soft dough forms. Cover and refrigerate until firm (at least 8 hours). Roll dough into rectangle 12 x 9 inches on cloth covered board generously sprinkled with powdered sugar. Cut dough into rectangles 3 x 1 inch.
