SPRING VEGETABLE MEDLEY 
2 c. whole green beans
2 c. water
Sweetener equal to 1 tsp. sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dill seed
12 oz. carrots, peeled and cut in 3-inch strips

Wash and trim beans, leave whole. In saucepan, bring water to a boil; add sweetener, salt, dill seeds and beans. Bring back to a boil and cook 5 minutes; add carrots, bring to a boil and cook 15 minutes or until vegetables are tender, but crisp. Drain and divide into 4 equal portions. Serves 4.
