CHERRY BARS 
3/4 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
21 oz. can cherry pie filling
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. oatmeal

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, add flour, oatmeal, salt and baking soda; mix well. Press half of crumb mixture into greased 9"x13" pan. Spread with cherry pie filling. Sprinkle with remaining crumbs. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
