VALENTINE CHERRY CHEESECAKE BARS | |
1/3 c. butter 1/3 c. packed brown sugar 1 c. flour FILLING: 8 oz. cream cheese, softened 1/4 c. sugar 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1/4 c. each red and green candied cherries, chopped 1 egg Beat until fluffy; stir in cherries. In 1 quart bowl, cut butter in with brown sugar and flour. Beat until well mixed. Reserve 1/2 cup crumb mixture for topping. Press remaining crumbs into 8 inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Spread filling over crust. Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top of filling. Continue baking 18-20 minutes or until filling is set and top lightly browned. Let cool and cut into small squares. |
