CHICKEN LA MAMA 
2 c. water
1 lg. onion, sliced
3-4 tomatoes, sliced into wedges
2 cloves garlic
8 chicken thighs
Garlic powder, salt & pepper
Minced onion flakes
Hot cooked rice or pasta

1. Preheat broiler.

2. In medium bowl, mix together water, onion, tomatoes and garlic; spoon into a broiler safe pan.

3. Season chicken with garlic powder, salt and pepper and onion flakes. Place chicken pieces into tomato mixture and broil for 1 hour or until chicken is cooked through, turning chicken every 15 minutes. Serve over rice or pasta.
