DEEP-DISH TACO SQUARES 
1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. sour cream
1/3 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. (2 oz.) shredded, sharp Cheddar cheese
1 tbsp. chopped onion
1 c. biscuit mix
1/4 c. water
1 med. tomato, thinly sliced
1/2 c. chopped green pepper

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease square baking dish, 8 x 8 x 2 inches. Brown ground beef, drain. Mix sour cream, mayonnaise, cheese and onion; reserve. Mix biscuit mix and water until soft dough forms. Put in pan, pressing dough 1/2 inch up sides. Layer beef, tomato and green pepper in pan; spoon sour cream mixture over top. Bake until edges of dough are light brown, 25 to 30 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
