BEEF VENDALOO 
1 lb. top round, cut into sm. cubes
1 lg. onion, sliced thinly
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/4 pt. malt vinegar
1 tsp. mixed spice
2 tsp. curry powder
5 oz. macaroni
Butter
Parsley

Brown the meat and onions in butter. Put into a casserole dish and pour over the vinegar and spices. Cook very slowly. Add a little water, if necessary, during cooking. Cook macaroni. Drain and toss in a little butter and chopped parsley. Gently stir through the meat.

Serves 6.
